began practicing law in Adams in 1988 after working for Carroll, Burdick, and McDonough, a large, civil-ligation firm in San Francisco, CA. He is a member of the Berkshire Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
He has dedicated himself to serving the community, both in the practice of law and volunteerism. He is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish Council and Chairman of the Finance Council. He helped form the Friends of the Cheshire Council on Aging and serves as their President. He also gives free legal workshops at the Adams Council on Aging. He is also a member of the Cheshire Lions Club.
Edmund R. St. John, IV
began practicing law in 2007 with the goals of making an immediate impact, both professionally and in the community. His practice focuses primarily on representing people charged with crimes, ranging from minor misdemeanors to serious felonies. Attorney St. John, IV also represents people in residential real estate transactions.
Currently, he also serves as the Town Administrator for the Town of Cheshire. Formerly, he was on the board of directors for the Youth Center, Inc., and served as Selectman and Moderator for the Town of Cheshire, as well as a Cheshire representative to the Adams-Cheshire Regional School District, was the Berkshire County representative to the Young Lawyers Division of the Massachusetts Bar Association and served as a director for BFAIR in North Adams.
